Providing education and training to Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and the wider community
Your first few months at the College can be as confusing as they are exciting. While your main focus is on getting good grades you also need to balance your hard work with having a good social life too.
Many students take full advantage of the recreational and social activities associated with student life. As a student in the UK, you will automatically have the option to join the National Union of Students (NUS) and the College's Students’ Union. There are many different ways to get involved in your union and if at any point while you are settling into College life, you need support or help, then pay them a visit - they are based in the Student Centres.
Plymouth itself offers the social and commercial services of any major student city. Unlike many other student cities it also offers close proximity to the sea and Dartmoor National Park and is therefore a great location for outdoor activities. Plymouth also offers a great variety of student nightlife and all the facilities of a major city.
City College Plymouth is situated close to the main city centre making it easy for you to take advantage of the benefits of an exciting and vibrant urban city and historic waterfront. It is also within close proximity with Plymouth University campus and their students union facilities.
