Learning Difficulties and Disabilities

If you have, or think you might have, a learning difficulty or health issue of any kind then we can help support you in your studies. Our accessibility commitment outlines how we help students get the most out of their time at the College. In partnership with DisabledGo we provide information to assist disabled students physically get into the College.

If you have any of the following don’t hesitate to contact our Learning Support team to access the range of specialist support and additional resources:

  • behavioural difficulties
  • dyscalculia
  • dysgraphia
  • dyslexia
  • dyspraxia
  • health conditions (epilepsy, asthma, ME, etc)
  • hearing impairment (Signer Communicators available)
  • learning difficulties / physical disabilities
  • literacy or numeracy skills below those required for the course
  • mental ill health (1:1 confidential support, 1 hour meetings)
  • visual impairment.

Our supportive and caring team will ensure you are treated with respect and your confidentiality is safeguarded.
